WHO WE ARE


Asian Training and Consultancy was established in 2023, helmed by Ashvinjit Singh Sandhu. The company focusses on two core businesses:

  1. Providing English language classes in vernacular schools (especially Chinese medium schools). Currently we have close to 400 students who are learning the English language based on the Cambridge University’s Cambridge Assessment English programmes. Ashvinjit is actively pursuing this business segment and we are confident the number of students will see a dramatic rise in the very near future.

2. To offer training programmes from the London Teacher Training College to self-funding local and international students, namely the Certificate in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), Certificate in TEYLT (Teaching English to Young Learners and Teenagers), Diploma in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), Diploma in MMELT (Montessori Method of English Language Teaching) and the Diploma in Teacher Training.

Our Associate Companies

Tiara Language Lab 

established in early 2008 primarily as a provider of English language courses to adults in Ampang, Malaysia.It initially offered the following courses:

  1. Conversational English
  2. Academic English
  3. Preparation for IELTS
  4. Preparation for TOEIC
  5. Cambridge English for Nursing

Since then, it has successfully taught hundreds of adults competently and professionally. Tiara Language Lab grew from strength to strength in tandem with its reputation as a professional provider of English language courses.


By 2010 the company saw the opportunity for further growth in its specialty and after careful evaluation and deliberation, decided to become a partner school of the London Teacher Training College (LTTC) in the United Kingdom. Since 1984, LTTC has been providing TEFL courses, helping thousands of teachers gain a globally recognised TEFL qualification. The company identified the need for a good and globally accepted qualification that would open the door for graduates to teach English professionally around the world.


Consequently in 2011, the company officially became a partner school to LTTC to roll out their programmes. Over the years, thousands of candidates from diverse backgrounds have been successfully trained to become professionals through the training programmes.

The Regent Education Group

The Regent Education Group has three companies in its group focusing on training government funded candidates in the areas of upskilling, re-skilling and Technical and Vocational Education and Training.

All the three companies, namely RIS Education Sdn Bhd, RIS Learning Sdn Bhd and Asia Pacific TVET Institute Sdn Bhd, are fully accredited by the Malaysian Human Resource Ministry and are tasked to carry out trainings on behalf of Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (Skills Development Department), a division in the Malaysian Human Resource Ministry.


The main focus of the Regent Education Group is the training of teachers in Early Childhood Education as well as Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
